Suzuki has launched the  2019 Gixxer, in India at Rs 100,852 (ex-showroom Chennai).  It can be booked for between Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000. The older Gixxer SP version will be sold alongside the new Gixxer for now. The new 2019 Suzuki Gixxer gets some cosmetic updates and BS6-ready fuel-injected engine. 

The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer gets all-new  more muscular fuel tank, new tail section and grab rails, new split seat, new instrument console, new LED head and tail lamps. The 2019 Gixxer will be available in 3 colours: Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and a two-tone Black/metallic Triton Blue.Mechanically, the 2019 Gixxer available with same 154.9 cc capacity engine. This petrol engine delivers the power of 14.8 bhp (8000rpm) and torque of 14 NM (6000rpm). As per ARAI certification, this model gives mileage of 63 Kmpl. The braking duties carried by disc brakes on both ends with single-channel ABS as standard.

The new 2019 Suzuki Gixxer competes against the riveals like TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZ-FI, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 and Honda CB Hornet 160R.
