TVS has finally launched the India's first ever ethanol powered bike, the Apache RTR 200 Fi E100 in India at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It will be available only in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka for now. This model was first showcased in 2018 Delhi auto expo. his is the first motorcycle in the country to be powered 100 per cent by ethanol. 

Visually, this model remains same as petrol powered Apache RTR 200 Fi. This model gets the new green color graphics. The motorcycle is powered by a same 197.75cc single-cylinder air- and oil-cooled, electronic fuel-injection engine.  This petrol engine delivers the power of 20.73 Bhp and torque of 18.1 Nm. This model can able to reach top speed of 129 Kmph. 

Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed gearbox along with slipper clutch.And the braking duties are carried by front 270mm and rear 240mm petal discs. This model also have single channel ABS. 

TVS also says that the motorcycle is capable of running on a combination of 80 per cent ethanol and 20 per cent petrol. In fact, the ethanol-powered bike produces less emissions compared to petrol powered model.
