Finally, Toyota has officially launched its all-new sub-4 meter SUV, the Raize for the Japanese market.  It is available in only one engine option along with four trims – X, XS, G and the Z. Toyota and Suzuki had already announced plans to include the next-generation Vitara Brezza in their list of shared models for India. We believe Toyota will stick with a similar look as it features similar proportions to the Brezza or any other sub-4m SUV in India.

The new Raize is the first compact car to be produced by Daihatsu Motor Company Limited based on the all-new Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) platform. The Raize compact SUV measures 3,995mm in length, is 1,695mm wide, height of 1,620mm and 2525 mm of wheelbase. This model designed very well on both interior and exterior and it will give the proper SUV kind of look. The SUV gets a set of large 17-inch alloys, black underbody cladding all across, LED taillamps, duel tone color options, LED digital speedometer, 7-inch TFT colour display for the instrument cluster, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering wheel controls and etc,. In terms of safety, tt is equipped with lot of features like collision warning, crash avoidance braking, parking assist and cruise control. 

The Toyota Raize  sub-compact SUV is offered with a 1.0-litre turbocharged unit in Japan. This engine is tuned to produce 98PS of power and 140Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a CVT gearbox.  The Raize also gets a four-wheel-drive option in Japan.
