Suzuki has launched the entry level cruiser of Intruder 150 with new FI engine at Chennai ex-showroom price of Rs 1,11,063. The new bike shares the Gixxer Fi’s fuel-injected engine. And this engine gives improved fuel efficiency and smoother performance. The Intruder 150 has borrowed lot of designs from its big cousin, the Intruder M1800R and M800. And this model designed in same Gixxer platform.

The Intruder borrows the frame, suspension, brakes, wheels and tyres from the Gixxer 150 with some modifications. And this model have smart digital instrumentaion system, Led tail lamp, Sharp twin exhaust and Intruder style headlamp.

Mechanically, this model have the 154.9 cc capacity 1-cylinder engine which was available in Gixxer FI, but different state of tune. This engine delivers the power of 14.8ps@8000rpm and torque of 14Nm@6000rpm. The bike also gets anti-lock braking system (ABS) just like the one on the Gixxer SF. The five-speed gearbox is also borrowed from the Gixxer, but in different gear ratios. This model will give tough competetion to Bajaj Avenger 150, the only 150cc cruiser available in the India.
