Honda Motorcycle Scooter India (HMSI) has revealed its first Bharat Stage VI (BS6) compliant scooter for the Indian market, the Honda Activa 125. The new 2019 model gets some cosmetic updates and some new additional features. It comes with Honda's Idling Stop System which switches off the engine in traffic. 

Visually, this model not get big change, but slight cosmetic updats are given and the scooter gets an external fuel filler. The scooter's new semi-digital instrument cluster also comes with detailed information like real-tim average fuel efficiency, distance to empty and side stand indicator which are all segment-first features. The BS6 Activa 125 will also be the first in its segment to come with a side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, which prevents the engine from starting when the side stand is engaged.

Mechanically, this model remains the same 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. But, this engine comes with BS6 emission complaint also come with fuel injection. It comes with Honda's Idling Stop System which switches off the engine in traffic. Honda not revealed any performance related details of new BS6 engine. And, this new BS 6 Compliant Honda Activa 125 will expect to hit the roads in coming months.
