Tata has launched a mid-level variant for its automatic variants of the Nexon called XMA. The XMA petrol and XMA diesel are priced at Rs 7.66 lakhs and Rs 8.75 lakhs (ex-showroom Chennai) respectively. Before, AMT variant was available only with XZA+ top variant.

The XMA variant have the same exterior and interior features available in XM manual variant. The Nexon AMT is available with 1.2 liter 3 cylinder Revotron petrol and 1.5 liter 4 cylinder Revotorq diesel engines. The 1198cc Revotron petrol engine delivers 110 PS @ 5,000rpm of power and 170Nm @ 2,000-4,000rpm of torque. And the other hand the 1496cc Revotorq diesel engine delivers 110PS @ 3,750rpm of power and 260Nm @ 1,500-2,750rpm of torque. Both the engines will be mated to a brand new 6-speed automatic gearbox. And this diesel engine have Eco, City, and Sport driving modes.

This model gets lot of features such as projector headlamps and LED DRLs that we expect to be limited to the top trims, along with automatic climate control, reverse camera, 6.5-inch Harman-powered touch screen infotainment and etc,. And this model have standard safety features such as dual-front airbags and ABS with EBD. The Nexon have 209mm off the ground, which is not only the highest in its segment, but also higher than its other cars.
