Honda had launched the fifth-gen City with prices ranging between Rs 10.90 lakh  few day back in India. It looks exactly like the Thai-spec City which was unveiled last year. This model gets the all-new design, updated interiors and more..  The new City gets a 3 year/unlimited km warranty as standard.

The new Honda City gets the lot of design elements from Civic, Accord and Amaze. And, it get new boxy styled design on exterior like all-new Amze. New Honda City gets the lot of features like - LED headlamps, rear-view camera, six airbags, CONNECT connectivity features, curtain airbags, machined alloys, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED taillights and more. It also gets all-new interior layout. The car is now longer (109mm) and wider (53mm). This model also get the electric sunroof.

Mechanically, this model get the set of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine delivers the power of 121 ps and 145 Nm torque and the diesel engine delivers 100 ps of power and 200Nm of torque. Both the engines are paired to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard but petrol engine model additionally available with 7-speed CVT replete with sporty paddle shifters. This model will compete against the rivales like Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento Hyundai Verna and the Toyota Yaris.
