Mahindra has introduced a new W9 variant of the XUV500, with starting price of Rs 15.45 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This new W9 variant comes equipped with new features over the W8 variant. 

Variant wise Delhi Showroom price details:

Mahindra XUV500 W9 MT: Rs 15.45 lakh 
Mahindra XUV500 W9 AT: Rs 16.53 lakh 

The Mahindra XUV500 W9 borrows a sunroof along with a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines from the W10 and other features from the W8 variant will continue to be seen in this version. Mechanically, this model remains the same 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. This engine delivers the power of 140 bhp (3750 rpm) and torque of 330Nm (1600-2800 rpm). As per ARAI certificattion, this model will give 15.1 Kmpl mileage. Most importantly, this model not offered with AWD system. But same time W8 have AWD system as option.
